That departure can’t help but raise a couple of questions. Is Vision’s fledgling coalition of NDPers and leftish federal Liberals in danger of fracturing, as the Larry Campbell-led Coalition of Progressive Electors did the last time the left was elected in Vancouver? Or is Mr. Bruce, whose union produced a campaign ad stating “Gordon Campbell eats children” and other similar lines, an outlier whose views are not widely shared?
